Christians Among Romans <><

“How then should we live?”

We can live as Christians once again.

We can re-start the unique contributions that Christians have always made to the societies in which they live.

Goal #1: (Biblical) Revival.

Revival always starts when we humble ourselves and pray. Revival starts with our own hearts, and by God’s grace, we may also see revival in our country.

Goal #2:

Internet pornography distracts Christians. But we know that the woman on our screens has a poetry in her soul and was made in the image of God. We can opt out and uphold her inherent dignity instead.

Equally, we know that we have a poetry in our soul, a poetry put there by a God who made us to worship Him and to live fully alive. We know that the internet has taken this poetry from us. We want it back.

Goal #3: Live as Christians in the modern world. What contributions can we make to the societies in which we live?

After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.” Nehemiah 4:14 (NIV)

“If you falter in times of trouble, how small is your strength! Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. If you say, "But we knew nothing about this," does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?” Proverbs 24:11 (NIV)

  • Conclusion: Each one of us has a poetry in our soul. We were created in the Image of God and have an inherent dignity. We are also each unique. Did you know that there has never been, and there will never be, someone just like you? God likes you, God loves you, God knows your name, and he sent his Son to die for you.
